a later game has a good American Revolution mod. I wonder if a later, better game would scratch that particular American Revolution itch of mine even if it wasn't built for it, i.e.It's from 2009 so obviously there may be some issues with an 11 year old game.The general consensus seems to be that ETW has problems and it isn't held in very high regard.
I know that exists with Empire Total War and I've been looking it up a bit but have some concerns: What really drew me was my desire to find a game where I could play the American Revolution. I'm a huge fan of strategy games (Paradox, Civ, etc) and RTS (StarCraft mostly) so this seems like a natural fit for me.
